GenSan hospital opens pediatric ward


A state-run hospital in General Santos City has inaugurated a new section that will cater to pediatric patients.

Dr. Jorge P. Royeca City Hospital (DJPRCH) will open its new pediatric ward, septic neonate area, and pediatric intensive care unit starting Sunday, May 15.

The new pediatric ward is equipped with 25 beds while the pediatric intensive care unit is equipped with three beds complete with the necessary equipment, the city government said.

“It is the primary goal of DJPRCH to cater to every patient that comes to the city hospital and serve them with quality healthcare services,” it added.
