Kidapawan City has recorded one death due to dengue as the number of dengue cases has significantly increased during the first half of the year.
The City Health Office (CHO) said that the dengue-related death was reported in Barangay Birada.
A total of 452 dengue cases were recorded from January to June compared to 72 cases a year ago.
The local government urged the public to cooperate to prevent the spread of the deadly disease by following the 4S – search and destroy, self-protection, seek early consultation, and saying ‘yes’ to conduct fogging operation in case of dengue outbreak in a community. #
