The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) has provided P5 million for the construction of Isabela City, Basilan drug treatment and rehabilitation center.

The state-run Philippine Information Agency (PIA), quoting DDB Executive Director Undersecretary Earl Saavedra, said the facility will be equipped to provide treatment to drug users and dependents.

The DDB official said the city might also ask budget for subsistence, electricity, and maintenance, among other necessary services.

Saavedra said it is the DBB’s vision to construct at least one treatment and rehabilitation center in every province.
