The City Tourism and Operation Office allocated P300, 000 for the sprucing of the 3 landmarks of Davao City located at the main entrance and exit points of the city.
The three landmarks consists of the Philippine Eagle in the Baganihan entry, Durian and Mt. Apo in Toril and Waling-waling in Lasang showcases the four icons of the city.
The sprucing was made to ensure that the quality of the landmarks will remain as the time goes by.
During the creation of the landmarks, the city allocated P1 million for its creation that aims to let the visitors get a glimpse of what Davao City can offer.
The landmarks were created by Davao based artist Kublai Milan.
