The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) is set to hold the second leg of the “Regional Travel Fair” this month in Davao City in time for the Kadayawan Festival.
The Regional Travel Fair to be held on August 16-18 is a 4-day event aims to promote the Philippine domestic tourism by providing stakeholders and industry players a venue to transact businesses among sellers, buyers and public consumers.
For the second leg, 35 buyers and 44 sellers already registered and TPB is expecting more participants, said TPB Officer-in-Charge Arnold Gonzales.
A series of on ground activities will be held at SM Lanang Premiere such as the Travel Exchange (TRAVEX) to be participated in by buyers and sellers, the 3-day consumer expo showcase.
The TRAVEX is a half day business-to-business table top discussion between participating buyers and sellers that will give them opportunity to generate direct sales and business leads as well as avenue to network, meet new business partners and renew business deals.
The 3-day consumer expo will be participated in by travel tour operators, travel agents, domestic hotels and resorts, destination management companies and domestic airlines from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao offering best deals.
The first leg of the Regional Travel Fair was held in Legaspi, Albay, while the third and last leg will be held in Bacolod City during the Masskara Festival in October.
