The city government of Davao has prepared several establishments to be the quarantine sites for persons under investigation (PUIs) for possible coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infections in the city.
Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio inspected Thursday, March 26, some of the quarantine sites.
According to the city government, the mayor visited the Alternative Learning School (ALS) building and La Vida Hotel, which can accommodate 59 and 37 patients, respectively.
At the moment, the Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center in Malagos is operational and can accommodate 30 PUI patients, it said.
Preparation of 160 rooms of the Queensland Hotel is also on its way for PUIs, the local government said.
“All services in these facilities will be free of charge and patients will be provided with all their essential needs during their quarantine,” it said.
