The Davao City government opened the “Bakuna Booster by the Sea” for walk-ins Wednesday, January 12, at the Grand Pavilion of the Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao.
City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) Head Generose Tecson thanked the Gatchalian family for allowing the Waterfront Hotel as the vaccination site.
“We talked with the Waterfront Hotel and thankfully, the Gatchalian family agreed to be the venue sponsor again,” the official said.
The “Bakuna Booster by the Sea” is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 12 to 15 and January 19 to 23.
“It’s open for everybody on a first-come, first-served basis. We target a minimum of 740 to 1,000 vaccinees a day. Anybody can just walk-in at Waterfront Hotel,” Tecson said.
She underscored that there is no cut-off as long as they meet the daily minimum target under the first-come, first-served policy.
Tecson said the booster vaccines available are AstraZeneca and Sinovac only since Pfizer is reserved for pediatric 12 to 17 years old vaccinees.
