Davao City gov’t gives 4 private hospitals mechanical ventilators


The Davao City government has extended support to four private hospitals by providing them four sets of mechanical ventilators suitable for cardiopulmonary resuscitation respiratory support.

The local government said the distribution of the mechanical ventilators was a response to the request of the Department of Health (DOH) to support private hospitals.

The P1.2-million per set of ventilators were given to Alterado General Hospital, Davao Medical School Foundation, Davao Doctors Hospital, and Anda Riverview Hospital.

These hospitals were also among the beneficiaries of the delivery of the personal protective equipment (PPEs) to seven private hospitals admitting Covid-19 patients and nine hospitals allocating beds for Covid-19 patients on July 13-14. 2021.

So far, the city government said it has delivered a total of 6,000 pieces of donated KN95 mask, 6,000 pieces of KN95 mask (not donated), 6,000 pieces of face shield, 3,400 boxes of face mask, 23,000 pieces of foot cover, 5,700 pieces of head cap, 13,600 pieces of isolation gown, 9,000 pieces of PPE suit, and 600 boxes of gloves were delivered. #
