Malacanang said Monday that a passenger terminal building in Cagayan de Oro City will be completed by December.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque described the passenger terminal as the biggest in the country.

Quoting the Department of Transportation (DOTs), he said the passenger terminal structure is a two-storey building with modern design and facilities such as check-in areas, with x-ray scanning machines, walk through metal detectors, restrooms, charging stations, pay parking, ticketing offices and field offices.

“3,000 passengers will be accommodated daily once this is completed on December 15 of this year,” he said in a press briefing in Cagayan de Oro City where he was accompanying President Rodrigo Duterte.
