Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano greeted Thursday the Filipino Muslims on the start of their Holy Month of Ramadan.
“On behalf of the men and women of the Department of Foreign Affairs, I would like to wish our Muslim brothers and sisters Ramadan Kareem,” Cayetano said in a statement.
“We join you in praying for peace and harmony for all during this time of fasting and introspection,’ he added.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque also extended his greetings to the Filipino Muslims.
“May Allah bless all of you with happiness and grace your home with warmth and peace,” he said.
