Bangsamoro Human Rights Commission leads training on fundamentals of anti-terror law, human rights protection

The Bangsamoro government has spearheaded a training against terrorism and human rights protection.

Bangsamoro Human Rights Commission (BHRC), in partnership with Institute for Autonomy and Governance (IAG), conducted a 2-day training on the fundamentals of Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 and Human Rights Protection on September 7 and 8 held in Koronadal City and Sultan Kudarat Province, respectively.

The activity was attended by BHRC investigators, lawyers, and support staff, the regional government said.

Last August, a similar training was organized for BHRC’s civil society partners from mainland provinces of Maguindanao, Cotabato, and Lanao del Sur.
