Over a thousand families affected by the recent strong earthquakes in Mindanao have received relief assistance from the Bangsamoro government’s Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST).

MOST Minister and member of parliament Aida Silongan said that 1,645 families got relief packs containing three kilos of rice, canned goods, instant noodles, dried fish, drinking water, and laminated sacks or trapal to serve as temporary shelters.

The beneficiaries were families who sought shelter in evacuation camps in three barangays in Kidapawan City.

About 1,000 displaced families are staying in Nuangan, 200 in Bangsamoro village, and 445 in Poblacion.
