Bago papasukin sa siyudad! Kidapawan City requires visitors to show necessary passes, health certificate
The Kidapawan City government has started implementing stricter measure for those who would enter the city after a confirmed coronavirus disease (Covid-19) case was reported in nearby M’lang town.
Mayor Joseph Evangelista said the decision to require non-residents to show some documents before allowing entry in the city was reached during the meeting of the City Anti-Covid-19 Task Force Tuesday, May 19.
He said the local government has to enforce stringent measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the city, which is currently placed under the general community quarantine.
The visitors have to write down in the locator slip the reason for entering the city and their destination for purposes of contact tracing.
He also ordered the Philippine National Police to confiscate fake food passes, which were allegedly being used by some individuals who want to enter the city.
