The Politiko extended assistance to ‘Widows of War’ which Honors Their Sacrifice.
Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo, in a recent statement, announced the distribution of cash assistance to the ‘widows of war’ residing in Barangay Manarapan, Carmen, SGA.
Each of the 200 widows, hailing from Kabacan and Carmen clusters, received 50 thousand pesos as a gesture of support.
These women, who tragically lost their husbands during the struggle for their dream of a better, free life, are deemed deserving of the assistance provided by the government.
While recognizing that nothing can replace their loved ones, this simple act aims to acknowledge their invaluable contributions to the nation and honor the memory of the fallen heroes.
This initiative is part of the Bangsamoro Integrated Rehabilitation and Development Program, funded by the SDF, and is overseen by the Ministry across the 63 Barangays comprising the SGA.
The program encompasses both immediate cash aid and a more sustainable, long-term livelihood initiative designed to organize these widows into cooperatives or associations, enabling them to engage in income-generating endeavors.
Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo extended gratitude to his colleagues in the Ministry, including Administrator Butch Malang, Field Director Zaiton Abas, Program Manager Zaide Amil, and the host Barangay Chair Dalid of Manarapan, for their efforts in ensuring the success of this compassionate endeavor.
