The Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) led by Governor Mujiv Hataman is now preparing its transition report as plebiscite for the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) is set to be held later this month and early February.
Under Republic Act No. 11054, otherwise known as the “Organic Law for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM),” BARMM will replace ARMM.
“Ayusin na natin lahat bago mag transition para kumpleto na ang mga documents at hindi mahirapan yung mga susunod na uupo,” Hataman said.
Engr. Baintan Ampatuan, chief of the region’s planning and development office (RPDO-ARMM), said that they are now “writing the ARMM transition report.”
The transition report includes the inventory of ARMM officials and personnel since 1991, assets, liabilities, devolution documents, technical documents, executive issuances and legislations.
Hataman asked the concerned agencies to have the ARMM cultural villages removed before January 17.
The plebiscite for the BOL will be held on January 21 in areas under ARMM, Cotabato City and Isabela City, while on February 6 in the provinces of Lanao del Norte and North Cotabato.
