Seven people were injured when an explosion rocked General Santos City at around noon Sunday, military said.
Lt. Col. Ezra Balagtey, spokesman of Eastern Mindanao Command, said that seven civilians were slightly wounded on their lower extremities when the blast occurred at about 11:55 a.m. at the National Highway near the Generics Pharmacy and Brigada Pharmacy in Barangay Apopong, General Santos City.
The victims were brought to Dr. Rafael of St Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
A tent and a vehicle were slightly damaged from the explosion.
Investigation has been ongoing to determine and arrest those behind the incident.
