Zamboanga City Mayor John Dalipe has ordered the concerned government agencies to prepare the traffic rerouting scheme to be implemented on roads leading to the Mayor Cesar C. Climaco (CCC) Freedom Park in Abong-Abong, Pasonanca during the observance off the Holy Week in April. Under Executive Order No. JD 029, Dalipe also declared CCC Freedom Park as walk-in. This means all types of vehicles will not be allowed entry to the park during the duration of the Holy Week, especially on Holy Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday on April 5-7.
The Mati City Council has ordered the suspension of City Councilor Xenna Princess Campos for her refusal to sign three corrected Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) resolutions passed when she was the presiding officer. This was contained in a resolution adopting the decision submitted by the Committee on Rules and Privileges and the Committee on Good Government, Public Ethics and Accountabilities over the alleged disorderly behavior committed by Campos during the coordination meeting last Feb. 3 and for her refusal “without valid excuse to perform a task assigned to her,” the city government said.
