A tower of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has been bombed resulting in power interruptions in some parts of Mindanao. In a statement, NGCP said its Baloi-Aurora 138kV Transmission Line tripped at 4:50 p.m. Monday, October 24. The areas affected by the Manual Load Dropping (MLD) due to the incident were the entire Zamboanga Peninsula, such as Zamboanga del Norte (including Dipolog City and Dapitan City), Zamboanga del Sur (including Pagadian City and Zamboanga City), Zamboanga Sibugay, entire Misamis Occidental, and parts of Lanao del Norte.
