The caravan services were held in line with the celebration of the 34th Araw ng Barangay Gumitan Wednesday, September 28.

Mati City Mayor Michelle N. Rabat has urged the families displaced by the recent fire to continue with their lives as the local government extended assistance to them. The city government distributed Thursday, September 29, the financial aid to 22 families who lost their homes in a fire on September 17. Nine homeowners with totally damaged houses received P15,000 each, one with a partially damaged house got P10,000, and 12 renters received P5,000 each.
The Kidapawan City government conducted a massive anti-rabies vaccination on dogs and cats as part of the celebration of World Rabies Day Wednesday, September 28.
