Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio lashed back at the protest actions from students in the University of the Philippines over the decision of the school’s Board of Regents to offer an honorary Doctor of Laws degree to President Rodrigo Duterte.
Inday Sara used a photo of a student-protester who called her dad “chaka” (ugly), instead twisting the insult right back to him.

Duterte has since declined UP’s offer, saying he usually refuses to receive awards.
