Para sa negosyo! Mayor Regencia again suspends curfew for adults in Iligan
Two days after resuming the curfew for the adults and minors, Iligan City Mayor Celso G. Regencia once again temporarily suspended its implementation for 18 years old and above.
In Executive Order No. 155, series of 2018, Regencia granted the request of the businessmen, especially those operating 24-hour service, to continue the suspension of the implementation of curfew hours to sustain their business.
“There is a need to relax the implementation of the curfew hours to protect the interest of the local business and economy,” he said.
The regular curfew hours for the minors, however, shall remain effective from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., except those accompanied by their parents or guardians, the local chief executive said.
The EO took effect immediately after signing it on October 10.
On October 8, Regencia ordered the resumption of the implementation of curfew for both the minors and adults after the completion of the month-long Diyandi Festival.
