Gigil mo siya! Agusan Rep. Law Fortun on Aguirre: You’re not misquoted; you lied
He did not name the object of his patama, but people on social media were smart enough to identify him.
Agusan Rep. Lawrence “Law” Fortun took to social media his frustration on a certain someone “misquoted by the media.”
“When the media quoted your deliberate falsities, you were not misquoted. You lied,” he said.
Someone added salt to the injury by calling that someone’s hair a “fake.” Certainly, that someone was Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguire II.
Aguirre recently alleged that Senators Bam Aquino and Antonio Trillanes IV had a meeting with Liberal party members from the Alonto and Lucman clans of Mindanao prior to the Maute group’s attack in Marawi City.
The secretary even showed a photo of the alleged meeting.
Fortun, who ran under Liberal Party, shared a news article saying Aguirre got the “wrong dates, wrong place, wrong people, wrong photo, wrong info.”
Aguirre had retracted his claim but the damage was done already.
