Duterte has bank waiver ready if Trillanes will stop yakking and authenticate his hidden wealth claims – Sara

Presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio revealed President Rodrigo Duterte has already prepared a waiver for release if Senator Antonio Trillanes IV could validate his claim that their family has billions stashed in secret deposits.

“Hindi niya (Trillanes) magagawa yan, kasi alam niyang nagsisinungaling siya (He cannot do it because he knows that he is lying),” said Sara in an interview here Saturday,

Trillanes, earlier, accused the President and their family of being corrupt by having millions of pesos in bank accounts.

“Sinabi ko na kung gusto niya ng waiver, ibibigay namin ang waiver sa kanya, sabihin niya muna kung totoo yung listahan niya at kung totoo ang listahan niya sino ang source ng listahan niya (I told him if he wants a waiver, we will give it to him but he should tell us first if the list he revealed in public is authenticated and if it is authenticated who is the source of his list),” she added.

Sara called Trillanes a bare-faced liar who just kept on blabbing his mouth without making an effort to back up his charges.

“Magsabi ka kung nagsisinungaling ka o hindi. Sinungaling kasi (Tell us if you are lying or not. He’s a liar),” she said.

The presidential daughter also challenged Trillanes not to hide behind his parliamentary immunity in the Senate and prove his accusation against his father in court.

Aside from Trillanes, Sara also turned her ire on Senators Kiko Pangilinan and Risa Hontiverors whom she called ‘plastic and opportunists’ in her previous Facebook post.

She said Pangilinan and Hontiveros have both sought the help of the President in previous campaigns without any concern on the issues hounding his father. But after her father won the presidency, Sara said the two had the gall the criticize his father.

“Nasaan na ang credibility ninyo as a person (Where is your credibility as a person?)?” the Davao City mayor asked.
