Davao City sacks 2 traffic enforcers for using duplicated plates; Ayaw ni Inday Sarah niyan!

Two traffic enforcers in Davao City lost their jobs after they were caught using duplicate license plates for their motorcycles.

City Transportation and Traffic Management Office chief Dionesio Abude said Pedro Pebria and Edwin Buenvenida were terminated effective Nov. 9.

Pebria and Buenvenida were the enforcers in a viral photo where they rode motorcycles with the same plates.

Abude said the two officers admitted they were in the photo. He said they have also taken back the two officers’ radio units.

Investigation showed Buenvenida borrowed Pebria’s old license plate and used it since 2013. Buenvenida supposedly planned to buy a a secondhand motorcycle.

Abude said Pebria had worked in CTTMO for 16 years and Buenvenida for three years. Both are contractual workers.
