22 families in Marawi City receive livelihood assistance
Some 22 families in war-torn Marawi City have received livelihood support worth P15,000 each, the local government of Marawi said.
The Community and Family Service International (CFSI), in coordination with the city government and its other partners, initially handed over livelihood goods, such as tricycle sidecars, capentry tools, refrigerators, groceries, fish vending, and school supplies, among others, to the beneficiaries.
The turnover ceremony was held at the City Hall Complex, Marawi City Wednesday, August 8, as part of the Marawi Recovery Project (MRP), a recovery assistance to people and families affected by the Marawi conflict last year.
CFSI, in partnership with Australian Aid, is set to provide livelihood support to a total of 1,500 beneficiaries in Marawi City.
